Londyn & Layton May 2021

It has been a long time since I’ve given an update on the girls and I missed a few monthly updates for Layton!
I figured I will write one long post about the last 6 months and everything we’ve been up to!

Layton is almost 15 months old and she is at the most fun age! I kinda forgot how fun this age is and how much she is learning and playing. She is so chatty and we love her baby talk and she is repeating everything we say and starting to say so many things and listen to so many things we are teaching her. She can say Londyn, puppy (her favorite thing to say), baba(second fave), outside, all done, sissy, daddy, mommy, papa, Gigi, up, help…this list goes on but she is so smart and so silly when learning new words. She also listens so well and if we ask her something she will shake her head yes and make the cutest face. She smiles when we say cheese and makes the cheesiest face. she will give kisses and has recently started giving hugs, like actual hugs with arms out. sweetest little baby. She says “baby” and will point to the pictures of her on the wall and wanna give the baby in the picture kisses.

Layton loves to eat and will eat almost anything we give her. (unlike big sissy who is the pickiest eater). She will sign “more” when she wants more and she’s starting to say more too. She LOVES avocados, bananas, turkey, cheese, oatmeal… She is starting to feed herself with a spoon. I will put a little on her spoon and she is good about getting it into her mouth most of the time. She also loves her veggie pouches and she will feed herself those which is convenient. But when she is done in the highchair she is “ALL DONE”. She will start by giving her food to duke and say puppy!!!… like she is trying to convince us the puppy is hungry and needs some too..She loves feeding the puppy and it drives us crazy! She will then put her hands up and say ALL DONE or DONE. And its the cutest thing and we can’t even be mad that she feeds duke all her food ;). PUPPY is her favorite word and Duke is her favorite thing ever. They are the bestest friends.

Layton is a busy body. She loves to get into everything and play whatever big sis is playing with. She will find every tiny little toy or piece of paper she isn’t suppose to have and just death grip it so I don’t take it away from her haha. we call her a naughty baby cause she is always up to something naughty and getting into mischief. She loves playing in the cabinets and making a mess with all the things.

Layton is starting to sleep better! We went through a sleep regression and it was ROUGH. Mama needs sleep! Some days she will take two shorter naps and some days she will take one long nap. I am trying to just go with the flow and follow her lead and it seems to be helping rather than forcing naps all the time. It is also helping with her sleeping at night. We did a little cry it out and It helped her be able to get herself back to sleep so now we are all sleeping better, most nights! 😉 (Probably just jinxed myself)

Layton and Londyn usually play really well together and they are still very obsessed with each other and will love on each other and give hugs and kisses and cuddles. It’s the sweetest relationship and I hope they stay close forever. Londyn will get a little annoyed when Layton continues to steal her toys but she is pretty good about sharing and helping sissy find a new toy. Layton isn’t into many specific toys, she likes kissing her baby dolls and playing with blocks but she usually is getting into things she shouldn’t have or trying to climb on things she shouldn’t be climbing on. She likes to sit on our kids sized table and chairs but then she gets excited and starts to climb on the chair and not just sit calmly haha so she is our wild child!

Londyn is 4.5 and such a big girl. She is loving school and dance and loves to play with her friends and sissy. Londyn has 2 weeks left of school at All Souls and in August she will be going to a new school closer to home and where she will go to school longer term. It is very bittersweet that she is leaving All Souls since its such a special place to us but I know its for the best. She will be in PRE-K and will be going 3 days a week. BUT we are now looking forward to a fun summer and we intend to stay busy and have lots of fun!

Londyn had her first Dance Recital a few weekends ago and it was the cutest and most fun thing to watch. She had such a blast and it was so fun to get her ready with hair and makeup and her costume. She has been loving dance and it was so fun for her to show us her routine and have Papa and Gigi attend too. We made the whole day about her and went out for pizza after her recital and she then wanted Ice cream so we treated her to ice cream and she had the best day! So excited to get her back in dance this summer! She is also going to be In a cheer class this summer and a gymnastics class! She is very excited to start some fun new things this summer! Mama’s heart is so happy to see her love dance and cheer so much!

We have a busy summer ahead and looking forward to a lot of fun trips and events! Going to try and stay busy and have zoo dates, playdates and spend a lot of time outside! Layton loves to be outside just like big sis. If we open the back door to let Duke out she immediately wants to go out too and will say “outside” over and over again! It’s so cute but she is dangerous outside and we will be on our toes watching her get into trouble 😉

Another exciting this is Mitch finished COLLEGE! He is officially a college grad! He likes to down play it & doesn’t want to celebrate but I am trying to change his mind and plan a celebration!!

Here is a ton of photos from the last 6 months!

We celebrated Layton’s ONE YEAR BDAY! So there are pictures from her party too!

Layton update (8/9/10 months)

10 Months
9 Months
8 Months

I am so behind on updating this blog monthly for baby Layton! I am going to do one long post for the past 3 busy months with our busy little Layton!

She is at the most fun age and getting such a fun little personality! She is still obsessed with big sister & is moving and grooving! She gets into everything that she isn’t suppose to have and thinks it’s funny when we tell her NO!

We went on our first trip as a family of 4! We went to Florida for 10 days for my cousins wedding! It was such a fun trip! We spent the first half with mitchs parents & the second half with my family! Londyn loves the beach and the water and building sand castles and playing in the waves. It was so fun watching her be brave in the water and playing with the other kids! Baby Layton did great on the trip too. She played in the sand and was an easy going baby the whole trip! It was nice to get away & relax at the beach for 10 days!

After our trip we went right into fall and halloween festivities! We went to a pumpkin patch/fall fest with our friends which Londyn had so much fun! We dressed up for Halloween. Londyn was Skye from paw patrol and baby Layton was a ghost! We went trick or treating in my parents neighborhood and we were happily surprised how normal it felt to trick or treat!

We had a busy November! I started my own business, we celebrated Londyns 4th birthday and we had a great thanksgiving!! And Layton was an easy going baby for it all! She is such a happy baby and just loves to watch sister play and cuddle with mama!

Layton is playing peek a boo. She will take her blankie and pull it over her face and just laugh. At bedtime almost everytime she will take her blankie and pull it over my face & think it’s so funny. It’s a fun little game we play before bed. She loves her blankie and loves to cuddle with her blankie everytime we lay her down for nap. She loves to feed Duke and thinks it’s so funny how he just watches her eat and she’s will drop stuff on the floor and just smile at us. When she is done she will sweep her food on the floor to Duke. We tell her no and she smiles and does it anyway. So naughty ;). She is eating ALL the food. She loves everything and will eat anything! She loves feeding herself & eating whatever we are eating! She loves waffles, bananas, turkey, cheese, & always cheerios! She will climb onto our tv stand and sit & smile at us even though we are telling her no. She is chatting so much and says mama and dada all the time! My dad thinks he got her to say papa but i haven’t actually heard it 😉 but we try to get her to say sissy or Duke al the time but those are both real hard! I’m just happy she says mama ☺️ she will dance and shake her head when we tell her to dance dance dance.

We moved our playroom to the basement and it’s been so nice having a big space for all the toys and the mess. It’s easy for the girls to play and keep the mess downstairs!

We are looking forward to Christmas and the fun Christmas activities with both girls! We went and saw Santa! He had to be behind glass but it still felt Normal to see him and have Londyn tell him what she wants! She was a little shy but ended up telling him she wants doll accessories for her baby dolls! We got a cute picture of the girls with Santa! We also went to zoo lights and saw all the pretty Christmas lights at the zoo! We are going to a drive through Christmas lights this weekend and i know Londyn is going to love that! We will get in jammies and have hot cocoa for a fun night!

Londyn is loving school and had a little Christmas performance that we got to watch virtually and she sang so great and was dressed up as a sweet angel! She also loves her dance class & had a mini performance for that as well. She asks to go to dance class all the time! She moved up to the next level in dance and will start her new class in January! I think we will also have her start cheer or gymnastics. We will see which she picks but i want her to do both eventually!

Londyn has so many nicknames for Layton. We all call her different things all day! She calls her mochi cake, bobo, baby Layton. It’s never just Layton! We have all started calling her bobo. Londyn is always coming up with new things haha it’s fun to see what she comes up with.

Layton has been sleeping pretty good most nights and she naps great two times a day! She has started pointing at things and getting excited about whatever she is pointing at. She was pointing at the Christmas tree and loves the twinkling lights on the tree! We have two trees and one has all the ornaments on it and she has started to reach for those & be interested in what’s on the tree. The other tree has twinkling lights and she points to those all the time!🥰 she loves to cuddle and nestle her head into the blankets and lay on big sis. It’s the sweetest thing!

Sorry this was kind of all over the place but it’s been a busy 3 months. Here are some pictures!

7 month update Layton Blake

Layton Blake is 7 months old! (Finally writing this blog post 2 weeks later)

Little miss is ON THE MOVE and into everything! This is such a fun age but i forgot how much they get into and so quickly! It’s been so fun to see her crawl and climb and follow sissy around and attempt to steal sissy’s toys (which Londyn is not happy about)! Londyn is still so great with her but learning to share her toys with baby has been tough 😉 Layton is starting to chat so much and she says mamamama even though I don’t know if I count that as “Mama”! But maybe soon!!

Layton loves to eat!! This is opposite of how Londyn was (and is). Layton will try anything and wants to eat whatever we are eating! She will get mad if we aren’t giving her food fast enough! She still will eat purées but she prefers to feed herself and is loving bananas, peanut butter toast, turkey, cheese, and PUFFS! I hope she keeps up this love for eating and food! Big sissy is the opposite and is the most picky eater!

Layton is pulling herself up on everything! We had to move her crib lower because she was pulling up and trying to get out! It is her new favorite way to avoid nap bypulling herself up and playing instead of napping!

We have a busy month coming up! We are traveling to Florida for my cousins wedding! We will be there for 10 days and it will be Layton’s first trip to the beach and I can’t wait to see how she likes the water & sand! Luckily we are traveling with Mitchs parents and my parents so we will have lots of help with both girls!

We are looking forward to a busy October and all the fun fall festivities! Layton is going to be a little ghost for Halloween & big sister changes her mind daily on what she’s wants to be! She keeps saying elsa and Layton can be baby elsa! We will see about that😉

Layton 6 Month Update

My baby is 6 months old! I can’t even believe it! Time is flying by but also how is she already half a year! I can’t even think about her being one! (Even though i have her whole party planned already😉)

She is the happiest baby! So content and just loves watching sissy play! She is ready to be on the move & loves rolling all over and is starting to scoot her booty to get to her toys or to get closer to sis! She is ready to crawl and is trying to figure out how to do both legs and arms at the same time! She is sitting all by herself! If i leave her for more than a few minutes she will topple over but most the time she catches herself with her arms and then moves to a crawling position! I’m like ready for her to start crawling but also not ready for her to be into everything! I forgot how much they get into and how we have to be so much more aware of little thing on the floor. Big sis is learning quickly not to leave her little toys and little dolls on the floor or sis will put them right in her mouth!

We had her six month checkup and she is growing great! She is still tiny and in the 10th percentile for weight and 20th for height! Maybe she will be short like mommy since we know sis will be tall! She is now having formula bottles throughout the day and will breastfeed before bed and middle of the night feeds. Yep, she’s NOT sleeping through the night anymore! The doctor doesn’t want me to cry it out yet since she’s a little peanut & probably needs that middle of the night feed. But i keep telling myself to enjoy it since she my last baby & she won’t need mommy for much longer!😭 So not complaining too much but I am ready for some more sleep!

Poor little Layton has a dermoid cyst on her forehead and we had it checked by a dermatologist and she will need to have surgery. They won’t do the surgery (since it’s only cosmetic) until she is at least 2 years old. Luckily it’s only cosmetic and benign so we don’t have to worry much about it at this point. Doesn’t seem to bother her so that’s all that matters!

Big sis started school last week & is loving being back and feeling normal again after being out of school for so long due to quarantine/covid. She is in the frog class and has one new teacher and one teacher is the same from last year and she is loving it! She asked if she could go everyday and i told her she needed to stay home with mom for a little longer! But it will be nice to have her at school two days a week and to have some one on one time with baby Layton.

Londyn went camping with daddy and papa and grandma and has so much fun! Layton and mommy stayed home and went shopping and cuddled and it was a great weekend for all!

We are looking forward to fall and all the fun holidays coming up! We have our first trip with baby Layton next month and we are looking forward to taking baby to the beach and having a fun family trip with both sets of grandparents!

Layton 5 Month update

Our little Layton is 5 months old! It’s hard to believe she is almost 6 months old and i don’t have a “newborn” anymore! It goes by way too fast!

Layton is so content, so happy, so easy going! She loves to be held and just watch big sister play all day! She is no longer sleeping through the night but I’m trying to just soak up all the cuddles while I still can. I’m use to no sleep at this point! Layton is rolling all over the place. She will go back to front and front to back but will eventually get frustrated and want to be picked up! She is now rolling in the middle of the night & is ending up on her tummy. It freaks me out and i am constantly checking on her when she’s ok her tummy but she seems to sleep better on her tummy.

The last couple days she has been a little fussy and not sleeping well. We are thinking she is teething and just is uncomfortable! But she still is content and happy 99% of the time.

She is having solid baby foods and loving everything we have given her except squash! She gets so excited and will grab for the spoon! Even big sissy likes to try the baby food, she asks for “big girl baby food”… um that’s just food my sweet child ;). We are only feeding her once a day usually at dinner time. Hoping we can start adding other foods and more often soon! She loves to sit at the table in her bumbo with us!

She is so chatty! She will talk and talk and happy scream and she makes it known she is there and she will not be forgotten! It’s funny cause she will get really loud when daddy and sissy are playing. Like she is saying “i wanna play too!!” We can’t wait for her to get to play with big sis. She loves to watch daddy and sissy playing and will smile and laugh at them! It melts my heart. I know these two girls are gonna be best friends. Londyn is so obsessed with her and i hope that never changes. Londyn, Layton and mommy will dance to frozen 2 songs and Layton will laugh and laugh. She loves when we all dance together.

She still loves bath time and loves putting all the bath toys in her mouth and will get mad when I try and take it away. She loves when Londyn takes a bath with her!

At her 4 month appointment she wasn’t gaining as much as the doctor wanted and we had to go back a month later for a weight check. We had that check a week ago and she is gaining better but still wants her to gain more so we have started supplementing formula. I am still breastfeeding at night but she has formula during the day. Which is a good thing and I was starting to worry about my supply and this was a relief that I can breast feed and give formula. The doctor suggested i keep my frozen breast milk supply for this fall/winter just in case Layton gets sick.

I am leaving Layton for the first time for a few days. Her and Londyn will stay with daddy for a few days while I go on a trip with my mom. I think it will be so great for Mitch and ME! It’s always hard leaving but good for everyone.

Looking forward to Layton to keep hitting the big milestone like sitting, eating more, sleeping more 😉 but time can slow a little more cause i miss my tiny little baby

Layton 4 month update

Little miss smiley is 4 months old! It’s really hard to believe time has flown & she isn’t a newborn anymore. It really is sad since she is most likely my last baby and I’m trying to soak up all the little baby moments. She really is our little sweet potato pie (one of her many nicknames) she is so sweet, so cuddly and overall a happy happy baby!

We call her our chunky baby but actually at her 4 month appointment she wasn’t gaining as much as she should be and the doctor thinks it’s probably my supply starting to dwindle down. So we are now supplementing with a bottle after every feed to make sure she is getting enough. She is finally starting to take a bottle pretty well from me, Mitch or my parents! Which is a weight off my shoulders since i am leaving her for a few days next month!

She is so chatty and talkative. She screams and makes so much noise. It’s like she is saying “pay attention to me!” Haha poor second child problems 😉 she is always so happy unless she is tired & hungry and smiles so big at everyone! She is laughing especially when we do silly things! She is loving her jumper toy! We have two, one for inside & one that is made for outdoors/beach and she is loving them cause she can play and also watch big sister play! She has rolled over both ways a few times even tho she still hates tummy time and rather be held! She loves to stand up and when she lays down lifts up her head like she wants to sit up! Can’t wait till she can sit up and play even more with big sissy! She has started solids. She has only tried rice cereal so far & seemed to love it and kept licking her lips! Can’t wait to try more! I may even attempt to make our own baby food.. wish me luck 😉 she was sleeping through the night so well & we have now hit the 4 month sleep regression! It’s brutal and we are trying a few things to get her to sleep all night again!

We are starting to get out a little more & have been to playdates and made a few zoo trips! Finally starting to feel a little more normal and more people are getting to meet & see baby! Mitch and I left her with my parents for the first time while we celebrated our 6th anniversary! It was definitely much easier than leaving baby #1 but still raced home to be with her!

Layton Blake 3 Month Update

Our little chunky baby is 3 months old and is just the sweetest thing. She has started to really show her personality and is starting to figure out what she likes and what she doesn’t like. She is still loving watching her big sissy. She will just stare at her and smile, its the sweetest thing.

Layton has started to grab for her toys and put everything in her mouth. She will lay on her play mat and grab for the toys and play with them for a long time. She loves grabbing for the wash cloth during bath time and putting that in her mouth. She refuses the Paci unless she is really tired and doesn’t fight it. She finally took a bottle from me, she has been fighting it so I ordered a new kind of bottles and she finally took it! We are going to continue to give her bottles daily so she can get use to them so mama can leave her with daddy in a couple months!

Little miss loves her bath time and every night after bath I will sing her “You are my Sunshine” and she smiles so big! It is one of my favorite moments every day. She has laughed a few times but not consistent and Mitch doesn’t think its a real laugh.. But I’m ready for more and more little baby giggles. She is chatting so much more and making all the sweet baby sounds! She loves her blankies and likes holding them up to her face. So sweet and cozy! She still hates tummy time but has rolled (fallen) a few times! I’m excited for her to start doing big girl things like rolling and sitting but also want her to stay little a while longer!

We have so many nicknames for her and are always calling her chubby girl, sweet potato pie, chunky monkey, Princess Buttercup. Londyn will call her sissy so we have all started calling her sissy or sis. Layton’s cousin Carter can’t fully say her name so she calls her “baby Laylin”. It’s so cute how much big cousin Carter loves her too. She is always talking about baby “Laylin” & named one of her babies Layton. She is such a special girl and everyone is loving the baby cuddles since we are finally seeing family and friends again! (Thanks, Covid)

Big sis Londyn finished her first year of preschool and we are officially loving summer! We got to say goodbye to her teachers and friends last week. She got a yearbook full of pictures of her and her classmates and its amazing how much she has grown since starting in August. I may have cried a little when looking at her yearbook. Londyn got her first big girl bike! She is loving it so much and we go on walks daily so she can ride her bike. She picked up the concept so quick, Mitch and I were both so impressed how quick she got it even with training wheels!

Layton Blake 2 Month Update

Layton is TWO MONTHS old! It’s been a crazy month but we have been enjoying being stuck at home with our two girls. Mitch went back to work after being off for 2 months so I am getting back in the groove of a routine and figuring out the new normal of having two kids! Whoa that is weird to say! One kid feels like One.. two feels like 87! ha! JK, kinda!

Layton is the happiest baby! She just hangs out and smiles all day. She loves watching big sissy play and she is starting to talk to us and finding her voice. She is so smiley in the mornings when she first wakes up. It makes it easy to get up at 630 am! We have her on a pretty good schedule so far and think having a schedule/routine is helping her have some long stretches of sleep at night. She will sleep anywhere from 5-8 hour stretches and it has been amazing having a little extra sleep. Hoping it continues & she will be sleeping through the night in no time! She still doesn’t love tummy time but have been working on it more and more. Still no rolling over but working on it! She loves to lay on her play mat and kick her piano and watch her toys.

We had her two month check up this week and she is growing great! She seems so chunky to us and we always call her our chunky/chubby baby but she is on the average side of the curve. She is in the 34th percentile for weight and 64th for height!

We celebrated my 31st birthday this week and enjoyed a great day playing outside and enjoying the weather! Also, in the last month we celebrated Layton’s first Easter. I saved a little pink dress from Londyn’s first Easter and put Layton in it. It was so cute and special that she got to wear the same dress that Londyn did. Having sisters is the best! Londyn is always the first person to make Layton smile. She will definitely be the first to make her laugh and we can’t wait for that day!

Londyn had fun finding Easter eggs and getting prizes from the Easter Bunny. Funny Story; Londyn found a bag of Easter eggs on my dresser in my room and she asks what they are and I told her the Easter Bunny dropped them off for mommy and daddy to hide for her. And she goes, “Oh well I found them!” Haha I told her we would still hide them outside to find for fun and she told me places to hide them like under her slide. She is too funny! So when we hid eggs I put one under her slide and she said oh look there IS one under my slide! She is too smart for all of us.

We have been working on school from home with Londyn. She can write her name and is learning new letters and numbers everyday. She doesn’t love mommy as her teacher and tells me there are different ways of writing letters or drawing things and I am trying to let her be creative but my control freak side was not meant to be a teacher 😉

Here are some pictures of Layton & Londyn from the last month.

Layton Blake

She’s Here! Layton Blake Parks made her appearance on February 19th 2020 at 4:16pm.

We have had this little angel baby with us for ONE MONTH! And I say it every time, but time needs to slow down. She is such a good baby, really only cries or fusses when hungry or tired. Occasionally she will get uncomfortable and will groan or grunt if she needs to burp or poop. We have had some good nights and some bad nights of sleep- I guess that’s the newborn life. She holds her head pretty well and likes tummy time most the time! We started getting out some baby toys and Londyn loves to show baby sister all the toys!

She loves to be held and rocked to sleep. Which is kinda hard with a busy big sister around. I have been wearing her so I can get things done like put on makeup or make lunch. She loves it! She loves her swing, watching her big sissy play & has been refusing a Paci. She is eating so well & has taken a bottle from Mitch a few times too! She has some leg rolls which Im loving that she is a little chunky! Big sissy never had rolls so I’m soaking up those chunky thighs!! She is already grown out of newborn diapers & a few newborn clothes are a little tight.

Mitch took two months off this time and we have been enjoying lots of family time! It’s been nice having Mitch home so we can tag team both girls & take turns with both. We ventured out to the zoo for her first trip of many! The zoo is one of our favorite places to playdate so Im glad we had some nice weather to enjoy a family day & we saw some friends while there too!

Pictures from her first month

Birth story & Newborn Pictures:

Decided to get induced on Feb 19th. I really wanted my doctor to be the one that delivered her since with Londyn I didn’t know the doctor on call and didn’t have the best experience. My doctor (Kelly Peters) was open to inducing early so we picked a date that she was at the hospital.

We dropped Londyn off at my parents the night before & that was very tough. I knew it was the best option to drop her the night before because we had to be at the hospital at 730am and didn’t want the stress of taking her to my parents then. Londyn was excited for a couple days at Papa and Gigis but of course i was very emotional about dropping our baby off to go have another baby.

The next morning (February 19) we woke up early, Mitch got us Einstein’s bagels since i was allowed to eat a small breakfast before and then we headed to the hospital. Such a crazy feeling to be headed to have another baby..

We checked in got to our room, got changed into the gown and got settled.. I started pitocin around 9am and then we just wait! I Wasnt feeling much pain or many contractions so they turned up my pitcion twice before i started to feel uncomfortable. The contractions started coming every 2 mins & started getting really uncomfortable but i wouldn’t say painful.

Around noon i decided to get my epidural and as soon as my epidural was done my doctor would break my water. My epidural was the worst part of the entire process. The doctor couldn’t get the needle to go in the right way & i kept feeling shooting pain anytime she tried a new spot. she had to have poked me wrong 5-7 times before finally finding the right spot. My back was very bruised and sore after that. Once it finally worked Kelly came in & broke my water. The epidural maybe wasn’t in full effect cause i could feel the pop when she broke the water. At this point i was around 4cm and she was hoping breaking the water would help get things moving.

So again we just wait for things to progress. I could still feel the contractions so I would press the button to increase the epidural. My nurse then came in and wanted me to stop pressing the button so i could feel the urge to push. Around 3:45 i asked the nurse if i could use the peanut ball (i used this last time with Londyn & it helped moved things along). As soon as being on the ball for a few minutes i could feel things and the urge to poop. Which we all now know means GO TIME! 10 minutes later i was at 8cm, 5 mins later i was at 9. My doctor then came in and i started pushing! I could feel a lot more this time than last time. I pushed through 3 contractions and baby Layton was here! It all happened very fast. She was born at 4:16 pm weighing 6lbs 12oz 19inches. When she first was put on my chest it was such a special moment & Mitch and I both said how much she looked like big sister Londyn.

Pictures from the hospital & Londyn meeting Layton. This was one of the best moments of my life. I knew it would be amazing and that my heart would grow but my heart BURST. I couldn’t control my crying when Londyn walked in. I was so happy to have her meeting her baby sister.

How far along: 38 Weeks

Gender/Name: Girl!! We have a name! Layton Blake Parks.

Weight gain: 30ish lbs

Maternity clothes: Over them, been buying new “post baby” mom clothes cause Im ready for jeans and cute outfits again.

Best moment this week: In the last month we’ve been busy getting ready for baby! Organizing and cleaning the house. We also celebrated baby girl with two sprinkles! The Greenwood Village wives threw me a small little get together to celebrate baby girl and it was so fun to see the girls. Then my mom threw me a sprinkle for close family and friends which was so special to keep it small and celebrate baby girl. We got spoiled and now are set on diapers and wipes for a while!

Miss anything: SUSHI! Ready for all the sushi and wine!

Movement: Tons of movement!! Almost gets uncomfortable at times.

Cravings: Nothing specific

Queasy or sick: Feel pretty good

Current Mood: Happy – according to Mitch, moody.

Looking forward to:  Baby being HERE! We are ready for you baby Layton! We have a scheduled induction on Feb 19th! So if baby doesn’t decide to come before then we have a date!
