How far along: 28 Weeks, Size of an Eggplant! I can’t believe I am now into the Third Trimester.

Gender/Name: Girl! I think we are getting closer to deciding!

Weight gain: ~18lbs

Maternity clothes: Yes, jeans and still trying to fit into non maternity shirts.

Sleep: On & Off, tossing and turing is hard and trying to get comfortable is a struggle.

Best moment this week: My 28 week doctor appointment! I had to take the glucose test, which is long but not as bad as I’ve heard. I always love seeing the doctor and hearing baby girls heartbeat! Everything is right on track! We go back in 4 weeks for another ultrasound, can’t wait to see baby girl!

Miss anything: Wine & Sushi! Can’t wait for our first date night out to get sushi and wine!

Movement: Moving and Kicking like crazy! She has her days when she moves a ton, those are my favorite days.

Cravings: Nothing crazy this week..

Queasy or sick: Feeling great!

Belly Button in or out: In still!

Looking forward to:  Baby Girl being HERE! The countdown has begun! 80 Days! I know it will be here sooner then I think! When I started the countdown for our wedding, time flew by! We still have a lot left to do before she gets here, but I am ready to meet her.

How far along: 27 Weeks, Size of an Acorn Squash.

Gender/Name: Girl! We just call her baby girl for now.

Weight gain: ~15/16 lbs. I forgot to weigh myself today so I’m guessing.

Maternity clothes: Yes, finally enjoying the comfy maternity jeans.

Sleep: Not too bad, getting harder to get comfortable and I toss and turn a lot. And still waking up multiple times to pee.

Best moment this week: Our babymoon!! We went to Breckenridge to get away for a night and it was exactly what we both needed. It was so much fun to spend time in one of our favorite places. We ate so good and just relaxed! And the weather was a little chilly and rainy, a little FALL tease. We had a lot of fun!

Miss anything: Wine! I had a sip of Mitch’s wine while out in Breck, it tasted too good. I can’t wait to enjoy a wine tasting or a girls night with wine!

Movement: Moving and Kicking like crazy!

Cravings: Waffles! I am not usuallly a fan of waffles or any breakfast foods. But I had to buy waffles for breakfast! I had one this morning and it was delicious.

Queasy or sick: Feeling great!!

Belly Button in or out: In, but it really is freaking me out knowing it will become an outie before the pregnancy is over.

Looking forward to:  My Baby Shower! We sent out invites this week and I am excited to celebrate with family and friends! Funny story; Mitch saw the invites and they say “Honoring Cara” And he asked why is it just honoring me when he had something to do with this baby too. I told him he is more than welcome to join the shower.. He didn’t like that idea! 😉

How far along: 26 Weeks, size of a Coconut. Who loves pina coladas?! 😉

Gender/Name: Girl! We have the names we like narrowed down to two. We haven’t really discussed any new names in a while. So unless we randomly hear a new name, we have an idea of what it will be.

Weight gain: ~15 lbs. Feeling huge all the time.

Maternity clothes: Yes, I finally found a few pairs of ‘skinny’ maternity jeans that are flattering. I will be happy to have them come fall! Speaking of, I am SO ready for fall weather and fall clothes! I want sweaters, boots and leggings!

Sleep: A little better, but I am definitely waking up multiple times a night to pee.

Best moment this week: All her Kicking! Mitch finally got to feel her kick and it was so fun to see his face. She is moving so much now! I’m kind of obsessive about how often she is kicking, I know I don’t need to be counting yet but its hard not to.

Miss anything: Sushi. But also not feeling like I have to eat every 5 seconds. I’m going to be ready for a diet once she is here!

Movement: Moving and Kicking like crazy!

Cravings: Sweets! Anything will do! But I never would eat cookies or ice cream this much before getting pregnant.

Queasy or sick: Feeling great!!

Belly Button in or out: In, but it is definitely ‘expanding’.. and it is really weird.. sorry TMI. I don’t want to have it go outie.. but I think it’s on it’s way there.

Looking forward to: Baby Shower & just organizing all her stuff and getting everything ready for her. I am in nesting mode already and it is driving Mitch crazy. I want everything done, NOW. I’m trying to take it slow cause we still have time.

Rockin’ the Preggers Tee

How far along: 25 Weeks, size of a head of Cauliflower.

Gender/Name: Girl!!

Weight gain: ~13/14 lbs, I went to the doctor this week and she said I am right on track with my weight gain! And I should be gaining approx. 1lb a week from now on. She also said I am on track to have a 7lb baby…Not sure how they can estimate that already but can’t wait to see how big she is!

Maternity clothes: Some.. Still on the hunt for some good maternity clothes/jeans.

Sleep: Better this week! I have been having a little snack before bed, maybe it’s helping! I do wake up at 6am – this could be because of my naughty dog.. I tell him its still bed time and I go back to bed.

Best moment this week: Working on the Nursery! I wouldn’t say its almost done.. because its going to take a lot of little details and probably after the shower to get it all finalized. But we got a lot of the big things done, and the crib is set up, which makes it so real!

Miss anything: Occasionally a cold beer sounds delicious.. But If I have a sip it doesn’t taste as good.

Movement: Moving and Kicking like crazy! During my doctor appointment we listened to her heartbeat and she kicked right when we were listening and it was cool that her heartbeat went faster as she was kicking! The doctor said that is a great sign of a healthy baby!

Cravings: Ice Cream & Fro-yo! I’ve had it twice this week and I want it again tomorrow. But anything sweet does the trick.

Queasy or sick: Feeling great!!

Looking forward to: Baby Shower!! My best friend will be flying out for the shower and I can’t wait to see her and celebrate baby girl with all my friends and family.

How far along: 24 weeks, Size of a Cantaloupe.

Gender/Name: Girl!! Which is so dangerous. I have been purchasing so many things and I can’t help myself. Little girl dresses, bows and blankets are too cute.

Weight gain: ~11/12 lbs, at the gym today it was like 11.5! I go to the doctor next week, hopefully I am right on track for my weight gain. I’m feeling huge already, I know it’s only going to get worse!

Maternity clothes: I bought some maternity jeans from Target! They are pretty comfy! I think I am just use to SKINNY jeans and the tight fit. Maternity jeans don’t allow for that look. Another mommy blogger I follow said she just sized up in regular jeans, so I tried that as well… I like the look a lot better but I don’t think I can wear them for the entire pregnancy, they work for now though.

Sleep: On & Off, I am starting to get hungry at 3am when I wake up…I may need to start having a late night snack before I go to bed.

Best moment this week: Finishing our registry! I’m sure I’ll add things here and there as I see stuff but for the big stuff we are finished! It was a lot of fun & Mitch got really into it and had a say in most things. Like he doesn’t want a lot of pink in the nursery, which is good because I don’t either. It will still be girly and pretty, just with a little touch of pink.

Miss anything: Sushi, I really want a Red Dragon Roll from John Holly’s. I think I will be requesting one as soon as I am out of the hospital.

Movement: She is kicking like crazy! It is at certain times, like early morning, late at night and sometimes at 3am (She is probably the hungry one). So Mitch hasn’t felt yet, but I know it will be soon cause she is moving all the time.

Cravings: Fro-Yo! I went to get fro-yo this weekend and it was amazing. I may have to go again soon! And anything chocolate, peanut m&ms have been my go to.

Queasy or sick: Feeling great!!
