Londyn Bear is 23 months old… which means ONE MONTH till my baby is 2. I can’t believe she is going to be 2 and that the holidays are right around the corner! Time is flying. We talk about her birthday & ask her how old she is going to be. She says two and attempts to hold up 2 fingers but it’s too hard and it ends up being 3 fingers.

Little miss sassy is running the house around here. She has the sweetest but sassiest personality. She is so chatty and so smart! Everyday I’m shocked by the things she says and the things she knows. She will repeat everything (i mean everything!) We (mainly Mitch) need to work on what we say around her because she repeats bad words, phrases, actions. It’s cute most the time until someone says something inappropriate.

She loves to “cook” while mommy or daddy cooks. She likes to put a chair up to the counter and pretend cook. She loves to play mommy with her babies. She will change their diapers 10x in an hour, puts them down for naps and talks to them. It’s the sweetest thing to watch. She loves playing chase with Duke. She will run around the house and say “I’m running, I’m running, I’m running” she loves when duke chases her.

She loves watching movies & loves to dance to the music in the movies. Some of her favorites right now are Trolls, kungfuPanda, Cars, BossBaby.

Londyn can say most of her ABCs. If i start to sing it she will start too and will say certain letters. She also can count but always skips 3/4. 1 2 5. She also likes to count and jump or throw something and say “1 2 5, ready set go!” She knows a lot of her shapes! Circle, triangle, oval, star and sometimes square.

We play flash cards and she knows almost all of the things on the cards. I’m always impressed when she gets some of the harder cards

Books. Books. Books. This girl could read books all day long. And she just recently started to read them to her self and she actually knows the stories. Like goodnight moon she will say phrases like “cow over moon” “good night moon”.

Londyn loves to play with her big cousin Carter. She always says she is her best friend and they have the best time together at Gigi & Papas House. She loves to help papa outside in the backyard.

She loves to go to the zoo. We try to go to the zoo with our friends once a week. Her favorite animals are the giraffes and the elephants. Which are both my favorites too 😉

We have been to 2 pumpkins patches, one trick or treat night & have a few more fun Halloween events this next week. She has two costumes. A mermaid & Moana. I want her to be a mermaid and she insisted on Moana. So we compromised and she’ll have two 😉

In the last 2 months I left Londyns overnight twice. Once for our friends wedding in Wyoming. My parents watched her while we were gone for 4 days. & then again for a bachelorette party in Breckenridge and she stayed with Mitch. Both times she did great & it was harder for me than for her. I just hate leaving her for long weekends. But i know it’s good for both of us.
