Baby # 2!!!

We are so excited to share that we are expecting baby #2 in February 2020!!! This was a little bit of a surprise & we couldn’t be more excited. Londyn is also very excited to have a baby and keeps telling us she is going to be the best helper! She does love helping other babies & kids so I can tell already she will be such a good help.

Here is the story on how we told Londyn! I ordered her a “big sis” tee & a big sister book! We gave her both as a gift & told her the news! She was excited but don’t think it hit her right away what that actually means. Now that we regularly talk about baby she definitely is excited & loves to tell people she is going to be a big sister.

This second pregnancy is so different from the first time. I’m 18 weeks & this is the first post I’m doing & have been bad about taking bump pics. I know this is because we have a toddler that keeps us very busy! Also, I was extremely sick in the first trimester and had zero energy to do much. I also have been feeling different this pregnancy, more sick, more headaches, more tired. Mama can’t hang!

We did an early at home gender test at 8 weeks. When we got the results we were both pretty surprised cause we were feeling different than what the results said. We have not told Londyn yet until we have an ultrasound to confirm! Which we have our anatomy scan this week! We can’t wait to see baby & confirm gender and share the results with Londyn & family.

Little update on London since I’ve been slacking on the monthly months for her. She is a sweet sassy toddler who is so smart she surprises us daily with the things she says and does. She started Preschool in August and she is loving going! She goes 2 days a week for 4 hours. She is loving the teachers and her new friends. Mama is also loving a little free time in the mornings before new baby arrives! Londyn loves reading books, anything princess, and dancing & singing.

Here is an update on Baby #2

How far along: 18 Weeks

Gender/Name: We have our anatomy scan this coming Wednesday and can’t wait to see baby & find out the gender for sure.

Weight gain: Seems like a lot but I don’t really know where I started so maybe 5 lbs??

Maternity clothes: Some.. Leggings & jeans occasionally. Some non-maternity still fits me but just aren’t as comfy as maternity leggings. I ordered a few pairs of new maternity jeans so I think I will start wearing those soon. This pregnancy the baby bump popped a lot sooner than last time.

Sleep: Waking randomly around 2- 3 am, mainly to pee. Falling alseep really early & quickly but will wake in the middle of the night.

Best moment this week: Londyn going to school is the highlight of my weeks. Being able to pick her up is so fun and I love hearing about her day and how excited she gets to tell me. We went to the zoo with friends & that was exhausting chasing a toddler around in the heat & being out of breath from being pregnant.

Miss anything: Sushi

Movement: Thought I’ve felt some movement but its not consistent & could be gas lol

Cravings: Bread/Carbs. Anything spicy.

Queasy or sick: Finally feeling better after being sick the entire first trimester. I will still get a little nauseas by certain smells but 100x better than it was.

Current Mood: Ive definitely been feeling more moody,  I think its the lack of sleep.

Belly Button in or out: In.

Looking forward to:  Finding out gender & getting started on the nursery & Londyn’s Big Girl Room.

20 Month Update

Londyn is 20 months old! In 4 months she’ll be TWO! What!!!

I can’t handle how grown up she is lately and how smart she is becoming & learning so much every single day.

Her new “trick” she learned is telling us & friends her name. We will ask what her name is and she was say Londyn Parks in the sweetest voice and I love the way she says it! She will sometimes get shy and not say it if we are in front of a lot of people.

She amazes us daily with how much she knows and things she says and does. She makes us laugh non stop & sometimes drives us crazy 😉 she is such a little angel baby with sass. She knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to ask for or (or take it).

She loves to read books. All day long. Books books books. She loves reading the same book 5x in a row. She likes to read to duke and her babies but most of the time she wants mama and dada to read to her. She’s our little bookworm.

She talks all day and repeats everything we say. But then we get in a big group and she is so shy. It’s so surprising to us because she is a chatter box at home with us. She eventually opens up and starts to show her personality.

I love watching her play. She talks to all her dolls, loves to change their diapers (10x a day). She loves to play blocks. She gets her blocks out multiple times a day & if i try to clean them up she doesn’t like it. She is starting to get into girly things. She likes necklaces and bracelets. She loves trying on my shoes and walking around. She also likes putting on her own shoes all by herself. Most of the time she gets them on the right feet.

She is still loving Moana and Shrek. We watch both daily. I should say we start to watch both daily. She is usually too busy to sit and watch the entire movie. But she requests they be on, even just in the background. And now her latest obsession is Winnie The Pooh. Which I’m okay with cause i grew up loving Pooh!

We have been loving going to the zoo and the pool and enjoying the summer. She loves the animals & she can name most of them and knows their noises. Elephants and Giraffes are her favorites at the moment. She also has been interested in BUGS… this girl is very brave ha! I was never a kid that liked playing in the dirt or bugs. She definitely is a dare devil. She will play outside with Daddy or Papa and she will hold the bug or dig in the dirt.

She has been the sweetest little girl. At bedtime we will read books and she will always ask for “one more” and then when she knows it’s time for bed she has been asking me to rock her and then she started asking me to sing to her. And I couldn’t handle how sweet it is when she asks me to sing to her. When i sing twinkle twinkle she will start to sing and say a few of the main parts. She will say “twinkle” and “up above”. She will also sometimes sing along with the Moana songs. I love when she sings. It’s the sweetest sound.

Londyn has been refusing to go to gym daycare. It’s probably been a month since she would go. She has one incident where she cried when mitch dropped her off and now she refuses to go back. I’m hoping it’s just a phase she will get through soon (cause mama needs to get to the gym again). I will ask her if she wants to go to daycare and play with the other kids and she says no, she wants to play with mama. She was going so great and loved going and I’m hoping she will go back soon!

Today, Londyn went pee on the potty for the first time! Our doctor recommended moving the potty into her bathroom and to talk about the potty during bath time, while the water is running. So I got her undressed and she sat on her potty & I told her if she needed to go pee she should go pee on the potty. And she stood up and there was pee in the potty! I was so excited,ha! She then reached in and touched it. But i was still so proud of her!

Londyn also had a naughty moment and said her first bad word. She learned it from hearing Daddy say it (& she even ratted him out for it) She said “Damn It”. Clear as day. When we asked where she learned that word she said Daddy. We both couldn’t stop laughing cause she was so confident in it and didn’t hesitate. We tried to explain that’s a bad word and babies don’t say that and she then said that Daddy needed to go to timeout. I guess it’s good she knows time-out is for naughty things and even Daddy has to go sometimes. 😉

Here are some pictures from our last couple months.

18 Month Update

A YEAR and a HALF! I really can’t believe how fast time is flying and how big my ‘baby’ is!

She really has grown so much in just the last few weeks. She amazes me daily with what she says and does! And in 6 months she will be 2!!!!(& it’ll be thanksgiving. 😉 Yum). Even the girls at her gym daycare were saying how much she has grown in the last few weeks. My baby is a toddler now. Time needs to slow down!

Londyn is saying so many words and putting several words together. She will repeat anything, which is scary so we definitely have to watch what we say;). She’s very good with repeating names and remembering them. We went to visit family this last week and she remembered so many names and who they were. I was very impressed. She copies basically everything we do. She will grab a makeup brush and pretend to put on her makeup, she will stretch after we stretch, she copies words that mitch will say.

She is still obsessed with Duke and ALL things puppy. She loves all dogs and always has to wave hi to them when we see them. I hope her love of dogs continues because it’s really so sweet how much she loves them.

She also loves her Papa. Both of them. She calls both grandpas “Papa”. At first I thought maybe she was confused but she definitely knows the difference between them and adores them both so much.

We left Londyn for the first time for a long weekend last month and it went great! She stayed with my parents while Mitch and I went to visit our friends Katie, Matt & Sutton in Texas. It was such a fun trip and I think long overdue to leave her with my parents for a weekend away. She did great and didn’t even really notice we were gone! And we got to meet her future boyfriend, Sutton! Who is such a good, happy baby! I can’t wait for Londyn and Sutton to meet someday soon! We have a few plans this summer/fall to leave her again with our parents for more weekends away. She loves spending time with all her grandparents we need to take more advantage of it.

Londyn knows so many of her animals and animal noises. We went to the zoo in St Louis and she would see the animal and say it’s name and the noise it makes. It was the cutest thing. I love watching her learn new things and sometimes she does things and I really have no idea how she learned how to say or do it! Within the last two weeks or so she has discovered the TV and movies… she is OBSESSED with Shrek. We legit will watch it 5 times a day. She wakes up and asks for shrek or donkey! I don’t know what her obsession is but she loves it. And she is now asking for Moana too. Which I think is such a cute movie and has great music so I need to keep expanding her movie choices.

Londyn, my mom and I went on a trip this past week to visit family in St. Louis and it was such a blast getting to see my family and having them all meet Londyn! She fit right in and became attached to one of my cousins’ little girls. Wish she lived here to be our babysitter someday 😉 We went to the St Louis Zoo, hung out with family, went to the pool, went to my cousins graduation, shopping and we were exhausted by the end of the week and ready to get home to see daddy and duke. Londyn actually did great for being off her schedule and out of her element. We took a late night flight home which was a mistake. I assumed she would easily sleep on the flight home but poor baby girl couldn’t get comfy and it was pretty miserable flight home. But we survived! Ha;)

Now that the weather is finally nice to be outside and play all Londyn wants to do is play outside. Mitch Re did a little are in our backyard for A play area for her to play. She has a water table, slide, baby pool, and mitch made her a little picnic table. So we have been spending a lot of time playing outside, eating breakfast and lunch out there!

Another fun thing that happened this past month or so was Londyn was asked to be a Flower Girl!! I am so beyond excited to see my baby girl as a flower girl. It’s always been a dream to have a little girl and someday have her be in our best friends wedding and now she is! We were very honored for her to be asked and I can’t wait!

Here are some pictures from our past couple months!

16 Month Update

Our little princess is 16 Months old! I feel like she has learned so much in the last few months so I thought I would write a post so I can try and remember all her big girl milestones.

* Funny Side Story- one of my friends (who doesn’t have kids yet, but his wife is pregnant) asked me how old Londyn was and I said 15 months. He goes… at what age do you stop saying months and start using years! I just laughed, I guess maybe it’s a mom thing to continue the monthly ages. People without kids probably think we are crazy! #momlife

Anyway, back to Londyn Bear!

Oh boy, she is a princess. We call her that in an endearing way but she knows she is cute and she gets away with everything! She has definitely started to show her sassy personality and runs the show most of the time in our house! She loves to help with things around the house. Putting trash in the trash can, feeding duke, opening the door for duke, taking her plate to the sink. It’s cute she wants to help, we joke that someday she won’t want to help with these chores.

Londyn loves baths, loves to brush her teeth (she still only has 4), she loves reading books & she gets more excited to see Duke over anyone else! She loves to cuddle with him, give him kisses, throw his ball and give him bones. It is so funny when we say “do you want to give Duke a bone?” She immediately sits…. we think it’s because every time we give Duke a bone we tell HIM to sit, so she thinks she needs to sit too. It is the cutest thing.

She loves Mac n Cheese, broccoli, asparagus, her bottle, cheese, eggs, Cheerios & anything I’m eating 😉 she has become a pretty good eater & likes to sit in her own chair at restaurants (no more high chairs)

She has started to say a few words and is repeating A LOT. (Daddy is working on his bad language). She knows a lot of animals noises. Cow, pig, duck, owl(just learned this today via Daddy), horse, dog, lion, bear, monkey & sometimes cat! She also can point out a couple body parts! She loves to say EYE! But she can also point to her nose, mouth, ears, hair, head, toes, belly (she loves finding our belly buttons). She loves to dance and will sometimes sing along to the music. I signed us up for a dance class this summer so I’m hoping she will like dancing in that class.

We got her a potty for our main bathroom (just to start getting her use to it) and she is very interested and has sat on her potty many times. She understands that you go potty on it but doesn’t quite understand to hold it till you get to the potty. I’ll ask her if she pooped and she will run into the potty (just a little too late). So hopefully soon she will start to learn the next steps of it. No rush, just want her to start getting use to it all.

She loves to color and play with stickers! And just in the last couple weeks she loves playing with her dolls! Which just melts my heart! She loves to swaddle them, feed them and stroll them around. We have to take at least one doll with us anywhere we go & she likes to have baby in her high chair with her. I just like watching what she comes up with, it really amazes me how smart she is and how much stuff she picks up from watching us. She likes to put on “makeup” while watching me put on my makeup. I give her a makeup brush and she puts it on her cheeks. She also likes to put on chapstick and lotion.

We spent a week in Breckenridge with my family and it was so nice to get away and spend the week with them! Mitch came up for a few days before he had to go back to work but then Londyn and I got to stay for the week! She had so much fun playing with her cousin Carter and having grandpa &grandma take them sledding. Those two girls are best buds and I can’t handle how cute they are. They are finally at an age where they can play together and love interacting with each other. They hold hands and hug and share toys (& fight over toys). They also went swimming. Which Londyn loved! She wanted to be in the big kid pool most the time! I think we will need to take swim lessons again this summer!

Mitch and I were able to ski one day while my parents watched Londyn. It was fun to spend the day skiing! Last time we skied was when I was 6(ish) weeks pregnant so it was overdue to get out there again!

Here are some pics of L from the last few months:

13 months with Londyn

These posts are going to become few and far between but I want to continue to post them for myself to look back on. #EBabybook 😉

Little Miss is 13+ months old and she is at the most fun age! I know I said that every other month but she is so funny. We are constantly laughing at her little personality. I love that she is her own little person and she is already very strong willed and knows what she wants. And she wants it NOW;)

Londyn is running everywhere, sitting on duke, kissing every animal in sight and is just a little ‘pistol’. Mitch hates when i call her that, but it’s true she is just a firecracker and she can be so sweet and then she doesn’t get what she wants and she throws attitude. Girl life if real. I know I have all the attitude coming my way in the future. I thought it would be a little longer before it started 😉

We took Londyn to gym daycare for the first time last week (i have separation issues, that’s why it took me so long ;)) and she absolutely loved it! She was so excited to get in there and PLAY! I am so happy it went so well and it makes me feel so comfortable leaving her in there while I get a little ‘me’ time and get to workout! I want to start getting in a routine and going Multiple times a week and even try to go to some yoga classes. Hopefully she continues to love it!

We celebrated Christmas and New Years and it was the absolute best. I love being santa. Like it’s so fun to set up toys and see her face LIGHT UP! I’ll share some Christmas pictures below. It was such a fun few days seeing family and dressing up. The holidays are my favorite time of year and it is 100000x better with a little one! She makes everything better but especially Christmas.

For New Years we decided to stay in and have friends over. It was easiest that way so we could put L to bed and then still enjoy the night with our friends!

We turned our office into a play room for L and it has already gotten so much use. We weren’t sure how often she would actually go in there and play by herself but she does quite often. Londyn got a play kitchen for her birthday and it is her most used toy. She loves going in her play room and just playing and making us food. She got a teepee for Christmas from Santa and it has been fun to watch her sit in there and read books or “get cozy”. We will tell her to get cozy and she will go into the teepee and pull a blanket over her and cozy up. It’s the cutest. I hope she gets a lot of play time out of the teepee as she gets older cause I’m obsessed with it and wish i had one as a child 😉

We are starting to get back into the groove and routine now that Christmas and the holidays are over! We have Mitch’s Birthday coming up and going to Breckenridge in March. So some fun things to look forward too! I’m excited to take Londyn to Breck. It is one of my favorite places to go and I know she won’t understand it yet but hopefully she loves the snow!

Here are some pictures from our last month and also some of my favorites from our family photo session with my sister in law (Krista Parks Photography)

12 Month Update Baby Londyn

I cant believe my baby is ONE!! This post is a few weeks late, it has been busy few weeks.

These pictures are the best I could get, this girl does not sit still! She is on the move!

Londyn is such a fun, spunky, sassy little girl! We had so much fun celebrating her birthday with all her favorite people. She is so loved and spoiled! I’ll share some photos from the party below!

This past month Londyn has been on the move, loving music and dancing and is learning so much everyday. She is so fun to watch cause she will just find toys and entertain herself for quite a while. She got a play kitchen for her birthday and she has been having fun playing with the pots & pans and play food. We tell her to make us breakfast and she will bring us some sort of food. She also got some fun music toys for her birthday and she is loving all the dancing and playing. This girl dances at any music that comes on.

She loves to be outside, she will point at the back door and watch duke from the door. The weather has been pretty nice lately so we will play outside for a little while.

She loves her bottle and will sit in her mini chair and drink it. She says baba and gets excited when we ask her if she wants a baba or wants milk.

We had a great Thanksgiving, it’s crazy to think that last Thanksgiving I was in labor with my little princess. It was nice to enjoy the food this time 😉 Londyn actually slept through dinner, (#naptime) this girl is on her own schedule, but we gave her turkey, stuffing & mashed potatoes when she woke up and she only liked the mashed potatoes!

Her actual birthday was the day after thanksgiving so we woke up and made breakfast pancakes for the birthday girl! Which was fun and she loved them! We went out to lunch for pizza for her birthday and that night went to Downtown Littleton’s lighting ceremony and saw Santa. She loved the Christmas caroling! I think overall she had a good birthday and I only cried a little 😉

We are looking forward to Christmas and all the festivities coming up! We did go on the Georgetown Train and Santa was on the Train and Londyn loved him. She kept pointing to him and just staring at him. It was fun to see! I can’t wait till she really understands who he is!

We also went to Zoo lights which was so much fun. My cousin invited us to a DU night and so the crowds weren’t bad. Londyn loved all the lights & we rode the carousel for the first time! So much fun!

11 Month Update Baby Londyn

It was nearly impossible getting her to lay still for this pictures. So this is the best I could get!

Londyn Bear is 11 months old! Like is this real life?!;)

I know I say this every month, but this is the best, most fun age! She is so much fun, learning new things and making us laugh nonstop. Everyday a little more of her sassy personality comes through and we are loving it. (Most of the time). She does not like to be told no, and will shake her head no back at us.

She is walking everywhere and is getting into everything! She loves music and dances anytime any sort of music comes on. She is still obsessed with Duke and will give him hugs and he will tolerate it for a minute or two.

She loves going on walks everyday in her little red wagon! Every time we go into the garage she points at it and gets excited! It’s our favorite part of the day (not looking forward to the snow).

She is starting to understand things we are saying to her or telling her. She will take my phone or the remote and I will say “can mama have that, that’s not for baby” and she will hand it right to me. If we are laughing she will start to laugh with us.. it’s like a fake laugh but it’s the cutest thing when she does it.

She is still obsessed with puppies and she will make a noise that sounds like barking to me and I will say what does the puppy say and she makes this cute noise.

She is taking great naps, loving her baths and is the pickiest eater. She loves pasta, bread and cheese (just like mom) and refuses to eat any sort of meat! We try to sneak it in to her pasta or veggies. She prefers to feed herself with the baby food pouches since she thinks she is big.

We had Londyn paint for the first time. She was more interested in the paper than the paint but it was a cute activity to have her do.

We had a fun month enjoying all the fall activities! We went to the Chatfield Botanic Gardens for the pumpkin festival. It was a nightmare! Way to many people and just wasn’t how I pictured it going. Of course we had fun and Londyn was a joy and always is the cutest thing. Next year we will chose a more low key pumpkin patch!

We got to celebrate our besties baby boy (Londyns future BF) at a beer and diaper party and Londyn just wanted to play with this puppy the entire time! We can’t wait to meet little Frank in a little over a month!

Can’t believe in a month we will be celebrating Thanksgiving and HER FIRST BIRTHDAY!!

We are in full planning mode for her birthday party and can’t wait to watch her try cake!

10 Month update Baby Londyn

Baby bear is 10 months old! This is my favorite age so far and I know it’s just going to get more fun! She is just the happiest, on the go baby and we are loving every day with her.

Londyn is ALMOST walking! She has taken 4-5 steps on her own. She gets so excited to walk towards us that she only makes it 5 steps and then falls on her bum. But she is definitely ready to go! She is getting so good about playing with all her toys and entertains her self really well. It helps when I am trying to do laundry etc. She loves to push her scooter toys around and gets so excited to go all around the kitchen. She gets upset when Mitch or I try to help her and she likes to do it all by herself, like a big girl. Mitch made her a mint Vespa and it is the cutest thing when she pushes it around.

She is loving her paci (again) she went months without wanting it and basically refusing it. Now she wants it in all the time! Which I guess I should let her have it, she is still a baby! But I don’t wanna deal with a 2 year old still wanting it, so we will see!

Londyn got sick for the first time last week. And that was really rough 😦 We all ended up getting sick and it was so miserable to have a sick baby. Even though she was sick she still was the happiest baby & still wanted to play play play.

Londyn is starting to blow kisses. She loves puppies and waves at every dog we see. She is eating all types of food and loves waffles, bananas, and cheese! She is pretty picky. She doesn’t like any form of chicken, she immediately throws in on the ground (which duke loves)

She gets so excited when duke is outside and barks to come inside. She will crawl right over to me and want me to pick her up to go let him in. She really is obsessed with him. He is still coming around.

We are looking forward to her turning ONE and are planning her party… even though I don’t want it to come TOO fast.. I want her to just stay a baby a little longer. We are also looking forward to all the fun FALL activities coming up in October. Can’t wait to take her to a pumpkin patch and dress her up for Halloween! We attempted to see changing leaves and enjoy the mountains but it was too soon and too hot in Evergreen.

We had family come visit and she loved meeting all her (great) aunties and uncles! In the third picture below she is trying “nethunky” which is a yummy treat my family always makes and she seems to like it!!

8 Month Update Baby Londyn

Londyn is 8 months old! We have had a busy summer and we are enjoying it & loving watching Londyn grow & learn something new everyday!
You can see how long this photo session lasted! She wouldn’t lay still and kept grabbing for the flowers! Also, notice in the second picture above how LONG she is!

Londyn is loving puffs(all flavors) and teething crackers. If she is crabby I will give her a teething cracker and it will keep her content for like 20 minutes. And sometimes momma needs that 😉 She is trying anything and everything and it is hit or miss with what she will like. She loves puffs and peanut butter toast! She will eat waffles and yogurt a lot too but some days she only wants puffs!

She is talking up a storm! She will baby talk and occasionally say mama and dada. We don’t know for sure if she knows what she is saying but we like to pretend;) When she is crying it sounds like she is saying mama so I think she knows a little bit!

We took our first trip with Londyn this past month and she had a blast! We went to Florida (this is our annual trip with my family) and it was so much fun having her and my niece Carter Dale there! It was definitely a different kind of “vacation” then we are use to! But so much fun watching the babies play in the water, sand & ocean! The flight was what I was most nervous for, but I kind of had the attitude of “whatever happens, happens” you can’t always control when a baby will cry or get bored but I packed every trick in the book just in case! On the way there we had an early morning flight and she did pretty good. Napped a little, played a little and by the end of the 4 hour flight she was bored and ready to MOVE. It is a task to travel with a baby. So. Much. Stuff. Wow, and TSA doesn’t make it easy to go through security… they have to inspect any form of Milk for the baby which adds 10 mins to your security time, which is already too long. But we survived and on the way home Londyn slept for most of the flight. Mitch and I were able to watch Beauty & the Beast! She did get fussy near the end but mainly cause the flight attendant woke her up and was extremely load for it being 11PM! Overall it was a successful trip! Babies had lots of fun! Can’t wait till next year when she will be big enough to really enjoy the beach!

This past month we have been going on lots of morning walks and last week we went to the park and hung out for a little while. I think Londyn enjoyed having a change of scenery and getting out of the house!

Londyn went through a sleep regression, but I think we are almost through it and she is sleeping so much better again. I think vacation through her off her schedule and she was waking every 2 hours and only wanted to be held. Which was exhausting!
She is also going through separation anxiety which Google says is normal for around 8-10 months. She doesn’t like it when I leave the room and she cries, crawling after me. It is heartbreaking but I guess it’s normal and she will grow out of it. She is definitely a mamas girl and loves spending all day with me 😉

Londyn is climbing on EVERYTHING! She loves to pull herself up on toys, baskets, chairs, the couch. I am constantly telling her no or that she is gonna get hurt. This girl is on the move still. I’m curious what the doctor will say next month about all her moving and climbing. She has even stood on her own for a few seconds, she thinks she is bigger than she is! She loves to play with all her little people toys and follow duke around and steal his ball (she puts it in her mouth every time though, it kills me) she loves reading books and laughs every time we open the page to puppies. She loves dogs, Just like mama! 😉 We watched paw patrol for the first time today and she was clapping and laughing at all the puppies on the tv!
She is just so much fun and definitely is starting to have some sass and her personality is showing more and more. We have been saying we definitely have a little pistol on our hands cause she is sassy 😉
Can’t wait to see all her sass and watch her continue to grow. Still can’t believe she is 8 months old and in 4 months she will be 1!!! Aaahhh, cue the waterworks!

Here are tons of pictures from our trip!

7 Month Update Baby Londyn

FullSizeRender (5)

FullSizeRender (3)

We have a 7 month old! This past month has been the most fun but also the hardest so far! Little Miss Londyn is ON THE MOVE! Oh man, she is so much fun to watch as she learns something new each day and continues to grow. She is the smartest baby and is so happy! I think she has changed so much this month and it has been a challenge to keep up!;)  She is crawling ALL OVER THE PLACE, is climbing up on things, sitting, rolling, clapping, dancing, eating, talking and wants everything she is not allowed to have.

Londyn started crawling on June 15, and now 10 days later. She is crawling everywhere, getting into everything! She thinks its fun to crawl across our living room & climb up our TV stand (see the first owie on her forehead in the  monthly pictures). She took her first fall while trying to climb up the tv stand. She hit her forehead and has a little scratch. Of course, she cried for a minute then was ready to start moving & playing again. And of course, I cried. #badmommoment.     Ever since she started crawling she has been getting into everything. She tries to climb on everything and I can’t seem to leave the room for a minute before she is across the room into something. This has been tough, she has to be watched 24/7 and it is making getting anything done so hard. But she is so cute to watch so I’ll just enjoy it 😉

Londyn does this cute “dancing”, I will say “Dance Dance Dance” & shake my arms in the air and she will shake her arms following me. It is the cutest thing. She is starting to understand the word “NO”. She stops whatever she is doing and will smile (She knows she shouldn’t be doing it) She refuses to keep her bows in for more than 2 minutes. Not sure how I captured some of these monthly pictures, I have to distract her to be able to get a few pictures with the bows in. She still loves the rubber duck toys, loves books & gets excited when she seems animals in any books. She is still obsessed with Duke and now will crawl over to him and he immediately gets up and moves away from her, we think he is worried he will hurt her and she will hurt him.

Londyn is eating solids and loving it! She LOVES her puffs, she would eat those for every meal and loves to share them with Duke. She is also loving Noosa yogurt, anything with bananas, sweet potatoes and has taken sips from my water cup (this is more of a game then for water). It has been so fun to feed her things from our plate and have her try new things! She still gets some purees but she likes to try and fed herself with those as well, which makes a huge mess.

This past month Londyn took swim lessons! We went every Saturday morning for 4 weeks and it was so much fun to take a mommy & me class. The first 2 weeks she was just chilling in the water, holding onto the rubber ducking and soaking it all in. By the last two classes she was splashing in the water, playing with the toys and watching the other kids! It got us so excited to take her to the beach/pool in a few weeks! We are also looking forward to more mommy & me classes 😉

We had a busy month with lots of FIRSTS for baby L! Londyn went to her grandparents house in the mountains for the first time, went to the park and swung on the swings for the first time, swim lessons, celebrated Father’s Day, baby showers, our cousins birthday parties, gender reveal party and enjoying the summer! See some pics from our month below!

We are looking forward to our family vacation coming up in a few weeks and watching learn and grow more everyday.
